Subject: DWQ Approval - Revised 316(a) Study Plan
As required by NPDES Permit NC0000272 issued 5/26/2010, Blue Ridge Paper submitted a proposed 316(a) Study Plan
dated February 20, 2012 for DWQ approval. Based upon DWQ comments, a Revised 316(a) Study Plan dated April 12,
2012 was submitted. This email serves as official notice that DWQ approves the revised 316(a) study plan, which will
allow Blue Ridge Paper to begin field work this summer. Please note that EPA Region 4 was also provided a copy of the
proposed study, and they responded with a "no comment" email to DWQ on March 5, 2012. If you have any further
