On behalf of the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority I am formally requesting a renewal
of the Nationwide 12 Permit that was previously issued by Ms Teresa Russell of the USACE for
the Kerr Avenue Water Main project located in New Hanover County NC The permit expired
on May 14 2011 No work in jurisdictional areas has yet occurred and no changes to the site
plan authorized in the original NWP are proposed
The NWP authorized temporary impacts to 0 049 acres of RPWs that are associated with
installation of a water line These areas will be restored to pre impact grade and allowed to re
vegetate Enclosed are site plans that illustrate the proposed impacts

any questions or need additional information regarding this project
