® A review of the application for a NW29 and the corresponding General Certification
(GC3890) indicates that Activities meeting anyone (1) of the following thresholds or
circumstances require written approval for a 401 Water Quality Certification from the Division
Water Quality (the Division ) In accordance with North Carolina General Statute 143
215 3D(e) written approval for a 401 Water Quality General Certification must include the
appropriate fee
® Water Quality Certification No GC3890 a Temporary or permanent impacts equal to or
greater than one tenth (1/10) acre of wetlands or open waters require the written approval and
appropriate fee Based on the noted wetland impact of 0 37 acres DWQ will require a
permitting fee of $240
Please submit this information within 30 calendar days of the date of this letter This letter only addresses
the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands waters or protected buffers
