On March 29 2012 your response was received concerning the issues outlined in our Hold letter dated February
24th Based on the information submitted clarification and more information is requested for the following
1) How many units are proposed for the current development?
2) In viewing the alternate plan with the exception of the type of units and minor street layout ( A on the
attachment) there was minimal change to the actual layout of the development
3) The avoidance of the 121 ft shown in the alternate plan appears to be a function of the layout of the units and
not an effort of avoidance and minimization Essentially a stream segment in the middle of the development
Can you provide information why the units highlighted in orange and denoted by B on the attachment cannot
be eliminated If this minor adjustment isn t acceptable to the town of Huntersville please provide
documentation
4) Please provide clarity on the buffer along the stream channel Thirty feet of buffer to each side should be the
goal
Until further clarification and information please be advised that this project will be placed on hold pursuant to
15A NCAC 2H 0507(h) In addition this office is requesting that the Army Corps of Engineers place a hold on processing
the application
