Dear Ms. Meeks:
On February 9, 2021 the City of Greensboro Stormwater Management Division completed an
industrial compliance inspection of Bonset America Corporation. Local regulations permit an
inspection of industrial facilities under authority granted by City of Greensboro Code of Ordinance
Chapter 30, Article 12, Section 7.1 (C-5). This inspection consisted of two parts: a review of the
facility files/records and an on -site facility inspection.
The inspection was performed by Elea Reyna Ocampo, and the following deficiencies/observations
were noted during the inspection.
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan/Spill Plan Review
Site Maps and SWP3
• Verify that the site map has all required items as listed in the permit Part II,
Section A, item number 1(c), including drainage patterns, outfalls, floor
drains, etc.
Spill Prevention and Response Plan
• No deficiencies observed
Monitoring
• No deficiencies observed.
Employee Training
• No deficiencies observed.

Site Inspection
Preventative Maintenance/Good Housekeeping
• Recommend covering trash compactor so that there is no leakage after a rain
event occurs.
• A small area with a white powdery substance was noticed during the
inspection. Proper cleanup procedures occurred immediately after inspection.
Please make sure that walkthrough inspections occur periodically in order to
prevent stormwater pollution.
Non-Stormwater Discharges
• No deficiencies observed.
It is recommended that Bonset America Corporation take appropriate actions to correct the noted
