Please give a brief project description below.*
Purpose of project is to repair shoulder slope and stabilize with class B
granite riprap.The wooden post supporting the existing guardrail have
rotted and also need replacing.The project is located on US 264 east of
Engelhard near the airport in Hyde County, North Carolina.The road
shoulder at this location for a distance of 250' needs repair and
stabilization.The adjacent surface water is a large drainage canal that
drains to the drainage pump on 5th avenue canal.
