Good morning Alan,
There are no open areas. Those are actually building pad areas that the GIS grading lines do not clearly demonstrate in
that figure. Please see the attached Overall Grading Plan exhibit which illustrates those areas more clearly. I too
suggested the rotation of the pond to the engineer to avoid those impacts. While the rotation is feasible, streams would
not be avoidable due to the steep topography in this area and needing to tie -out grades. Specifically, there is
approximately 30' of grade change from the site to the pond. Stream impacts would still be required if the pond
geometry was revised, in order to provide access to the pond for maintenance and grading relief.

email.
