REGAN Secretary LINDA CULPEPPER Interim Director Water Resources ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY May 4,2018 Blue Ridge Paper Products, Inc. 5350 Poplar Ave. SE 600 Memphis, TN 38119 Subject: Incomplete Application(Return of Application) Tax Certification for Pollution Abatement Equipment Real and Personal Property Blue Ridge Paper Products, Inc. Haywood County Dear Sir/Madam: We received your application for a tax certification for the listed facility on April 26,2018. After review of your application, we have determined that your application is ineligible for tax certification. In accordance with GS 105-275(8), a facility must have wastewater abatement equipment on site and it must be required by appropriate NPDES wastewater or pretreatment permit. This facility does have a NPDES stormwater permit(NCS000105). However, that type of permit does not count towards eligibility for tax certification. As such, we are returning your application with this correspondence. I apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause. If you have any question, require any additional information, or fell that this letter is in error, please feel free to contact Anjah Orlando at 919-807-6393 or an'ali.orlando a,ncdenr. ov.
