Dear Mr. Tankard,
Ashton Lewis Lumber Company is in receipt of the referenced Notices regarding late submission of
discharge monitoring reports (DMRs) for the monitoring periods of October 2020 and November 2020.
Our records indicate that the DMRs were submitted for both reporting periods on January 31, 2021 by our
Vice President, Mr. Michael Lancaster, who oversees the operations and sales of four operating sawmill
facilities and a fifth which is under construction. Mr. Lancaster agrees that he no longer needs to bear the
responsibility for preparing the DMRs. Accordingly, we have delegated the responsibility for preparing the
DMRs to our environmental consultant to be sure the action is completed in a timely manner. Mr.
Lancaster will continue to certify the DMRs as responsible official.
