The two outside barrels will have a 1' floodplain bench for high flows and the middle barrel will act as a low flow barrel. The road over the culvert will be crowned at 2% to the left and right. The road has 11' travel lanes with 6' to the right and 6' to the left shoulders, and a width of 40' from shoulder point to shoulder point. The existing culvert structure will be removed and existing drainage patterns will be maintained. On the end left side of the culvert, a special lateral base ditch with riprap is provided and discharges directly to the upstream side of Mill Creek. Class-I riprap bank stabilization is also proposed on both left and right banks of the stream to prevent future erosion and stream migration.
