Proposed 170’ long by 30’ wide (18” cored slab units) four-span bridge to replace existing 120’ long by 12’ wide (timber floor on I-beams) four-span low water bridge. Proposed bridge to be constructed and existing bridge to be removed using temporary workpads. Runoff from the existing bridge discharges directly into the creek; however, the proposed bridge will have no direct discharge into the creek. Stormwater runoff from the proposed bridge is to flow to two (2) traffic bearing grated inlets on each side of the roadway at the west bridge approach where it will be diffused with a riprap pad at the proposed pipe outlet located in the northwest bridge quadrant. There are two proposed pipe replacements on unnamed tributaries. Rip rap is proposed in the base of outfall channels to reduce discharge velocities. All proposed stormwater runoff is discharged as far away from the stream and at the lowest velocities as practicable.
