If you think that the erosion is significant enough, then I can allow for 4 ft. above full pond. Make sure to get that form signed though. Hey Mr. Perez - Could we do the max allowed on the rip rap? 4 feet below full pond and 4 feet below? I think most areas would do well with that coverage but there's some areas that have erosion that extend 8-10 feet wide. Thanks for your help. Kyzer Cauthen 1810 Oak Pond Rd. You stated that you have 800 sq ft of rip rap, however how much will be ABOVE full pond and how much will be BELOW full pond? Similarly, I need the Catawba Riparian Buffer Form read, filled out and signed, and returned to me before I can continue working on the application. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam.<mailto:report.spamLa)nc.gov> Hi Mr. Perez, Here are some additional diagrams and photos of the proposed shoreline stabilization area. Our goal is minimize disturbance of the existing area while stabilizing and preventing further erosion of the shoreline. With considerable increases in boat traffic as well as flooding and water level variation the erosion has accelerated in recent years. There have been a couple of trees that fell into the water in recent years, and as you can see from photos, a couple more are well on their way. The only tree removal will be those with significantly exposed and undercut root systems where the trees are currently leaning at a nearly 45 degree angle. I've spoken with our contractor and he had included all disturbed areas including access in his original square foot estimate. The plan is for the area of rip rap stabilization to be approximately 800 sq ft. Please let me know if you need further information. I appreciate your help.
