Attached is the corer letter and revised impact table -,N -e discussed last Thursday. I NN -111 send you all copies of the comment
letters from SHPO and WRC regarding T &E and cultural resources that ,, e recei'-ed during the scoping package re-,-ie-,N- for the
EA (as I mentioned last ,N -eek ,N -e eventually determined that an EA,,N -as not required for this project). I am in the field today but
I ��ill email the comment letters to you either later tonight or tomorro,,N- morning. I send four hard copies of this corer letter
and table to DWQ Raleigh.

Steve /Karen /Alan:
As you all are aware we conducted a site meeting on March 15, 2012. Attendees
included Steve Kichefski, Alan Johnson, Ryan Shy and Kent Lackey from Black & Veatch,
and I. At the site meeting it was discussed and agreed upon that during construction
coir matting would be used at stream crossings for bed and bank stabilization as
opposed to rip rap. As a result the attached impact table has been revised to reflect
that no permanent stream impacts will occur for the project.
