NC0031836 Dear Sirs: Enclosed are the results of three of our Digester wells, sampled Match 23, 1993, at Fourthr Tp, NCO031836. The Fourth Creek WWTP Lab, 1 1, ran theon-site measurements. Our Water Plant b, -, ran the Total Coliform. All other parameters were contracted out to Hydro Analytical Lab in + lemrmns. VDUs were analyzed and chloroform levels remain high;. The laboratory believes this is due to using chlorox solution as a disinfectant for the bailer; they sent a copy of an alternate rinsing method, which we will incorporate, Results of the VOC analyses are attached. f I can be of further assistance, please call at Sincerely, L. 'tT Environment l Natural Resources 9 Nbfth Main Street Dear [`fir. ndy; As agreed in a conversation and inspection of the monitoring well site between Steven Lambert and yourself this morning, the City of Statesville will continue to sample and test the well located rear of the Dewatering Building, until disturbed by scheduled construction of our Sludge Stabilization Facilities. The City will then properly close the well and Pilo the necessary report. Should the , next scheduled sampling event be interrupted by the closure of the monitoring well, all other monitoring wells monitoring the Aerobic Digester will be sampled as usual. Once the e path of construction and: construction traffic is determined, the City will have the replacement monitoring well installed, and the fall monitoring schedule resumed,The estimated amount of time required before a new well is constructed is six months from closure of the present well.
