Eric,
After discussing the project schedule with our engineers, it appears that while the project will be bid this year,
construction would not be complete until next year. Therefore, in order to maintain coverage under the Nationwide
Permit, the project would need to be under the 2012 Nationwide Permits.
On behalf of the Oxford- Henderson Aeronautics Authority, THE LPA GROUP is requesting the project (SAW 2010 - 01453)
be reauthorized under the 2012 Nationwide Permits to maintain permit coverage through the duration of construction.

Ed: Based on the available information, we have determined that the Oxford - Henderson Aeronautics Authority
has made a substantial financial commitment to the subject project based on the nationwide ;eneral permit 39,
which expires on March 18, 2012. Because of this commitment, we have determined that the project qualifies
for ";randfatherin y" under that nationwide ;eneral permit, and the project will remain authorized provided the
activity is completed within twelve months of March 18, 2012.

The Section 404 Nationwide Permit associated with the Runway Extension at the Oxford - Henderson Airport (SAW 2010-
01453) is set to expire with the Nationwide Permits on March 18, 2012 (copies are attached for quick reference). Due to
the funding schedule, this project is under contract for design, but is not under contract for construction.
What would need to be done in order to get this project covered under the 2012 Nationwide Permit?
