Box 27687 Raleigh, North Carolina 27611 Dear Mr. Helms: NOV DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS We are in receipt of several reminders'relative to the expiration of a number of NPDES Permits. As we have, on occasion, allowed the 180 day permitting period to expire unnoticed, these reminders were appreciated and of course very timely. The reminder regarding the Cleveland County Welcome Center (NPDES NC 0024830) was unnecessary however, as a request has been submitted and a draft copy of the permit received. Below you will find a list of those treatment facilities operated by the Division of Highways which our records and you have indicated permits are approaching expiration. Please accept this letter as our request to renew these permits according to established procedure.
