RE: Coastal Colorado, Sea Breeze 404/401(Issued) DWQ NO.20051244-New Hanover County
Biologists with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission (NCWRC) have reviewed the subject application for
impacts to wildlife and fishery resources. Our comments are provided in accordance with provisions of the Fish and
Wildlife Coordination Act (48 Stat. 401, as amended; 16 U.S.C. 661 et. seq.), and Sections 401 and 404of the Clean
Water Act (as amended).

The applicant proposes provide infrastructure fora 15.39 acre subdivision. Surrounding land use is residential. The
project will impact 29'1~linear feet of channelized stream (temporarily) and 0.29 acre of 404 wetlands. The applicant
proposes not to mitigate these impacts.
The NCWRC does not object to this project. If mitigation is required, we recommend on-site creation of coastal marsh.
