This inspection was conducted as a Compliance Evaluation Inspection (CEI) to insure compliance with permit requirements and conditions. The subject permit is for the discharge of treated wastewater to waters of the State. During the inspection it was found that ownership of the subject property had changed. Upon purchase of the residence you should have been informed of the existence of the current NPDES permit and the duty to comply with conditions therein. All paperwork in relation to the septic tank sand filter, operations and maintenance, sampling, permit and fees should have been forwarded to the new owner. Please note that during the file review it was noted that Annual Permit Fees are outstanding for this permit. It is necessary that you contact the Water Quality Permitting Section to resolve the issue of outstanding annual permit fees.
