Built -upon area in excess of the permitted amount requires a state stormwater management permit modification prior to construction. 5. All permitted runoff from outparcels or future development shall be directed into the permitted stormwater control system. Inspect the wet detention basin system for sediment accumulation, erosion, trash accumulation, vegetated cover, and general condition. b. Check and clear the orifice of any obstructions such that drawdown of the temporary pool occurs within 2 to 5 days as designed. 2. Repair eroded areas immediately, re -seed as necessary to maintain good vegetative cover, mow vegetative cover to maintain a maximum height of six inches, and remove trash as needed. Inspect and repair the collection system (i.e. catch basins, piping, swales, riprap, etc.) quarterly to maintain proper functioning. 4. Remove accumulated sediment from the wet detention basin system semi-annually or when depth is reduced to 75% of the original design depth (see diagram below). Removed sediment shall be disposed of in an appropriate manner and shall be handled in a manner that will not adversely impact water quality (i.e. stockpiling near a wet detention basin or stream, etc.). The measuring device used to determine the sediment elevation shall be such that it will give an accurate depth reading and not readily penetrate into accumulated sediments. The building is complete and the parking lot with lights are in place. The site is in violation because no storm water permit has been obtained. The total site is 11.11 acres in size. There is a ridge through the middle of the property that runs north to south. The site will be split into two parts, part one will be 5.94 acres of property to be undisturbed and developed later. Part two contains 5.17 acres of land to be developed. All of this developed site will drain to the northeast part of the property where the existing basin is. This basin will be regraded and increased in size to hold the required run off. The run off will collect in small swales around the perimeter of the property and drain to the center of the parking lot where a area drain will be located to collect the run off. The run off will then drain to the basin, through the forebay, and out the outlet structure to the state maintained ditch along NCSR 1410 (Halltown Road). One hundred eighty feet of 15" RCP will be installed in the middle of the parking lot at one percent grade to the forebay.
