A check in the amount of $160.00 is enclosed to cover the additional fee for an engineered system application. Enclosed for your review and approval are the following: • Two copies of Plan Sheet # 3 which has been revised to cover Items 2, 4, and 5 above. Also note that we have relocated the infiltration basins for Project Areas 3, 4, and 5 so that they will be at least 50 feet from SA waters. It is further noted that Land Management's report covers the new locations. • Two copies of page 4 of 4 of the application which has been revised to provide the built -upon area per lot limit for the single family lots. • Three copies of the soils report as mentioned under Item 7 above. • Two copies of the calculation sheet for anticipated drawdown time for the infiltration basin systems. • A check in the amount of $160.00 as mentioned under Item 9 above. Thank you for your continued assistance on this project. We look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience. Sincerely, Al4C.is,Vice President (40nald M. Covil, P.E. Our revisions are summarized below and are numbered corresponding to your numbered comments. 1. We recognize and accept the fact that the Master Plan permit will include a condition relative to the use of fill in infiltration basin areas, and, in the event that fill is not allowed in some project areas, said areas must either revert to low density, or the runoff must be collected to another basin. It is noted that information contained in Land Management's soils report (see Item 7 below) reveals that the bottoms of most of the basins can be sited in existing soils while maintaining the required 2- foot separation from the seasonally high water table. 2. A note has been added at the bottom of the "Preliminary Dry Infiltration Basin Systems Data" table on Plan Sheet # 3 which states that the infiltration basin areas shown represent the bottom elevations. The note further addresses the extension of the basin due to the side slopes. 3. During your telephone conversation with Mr. Don Covil on October 28 you withdrew the requirement that an Operation and Maintenance Plan be submitted at this time. 4. A "Typical Vegetative Bypass Channel Cross Section" detail has been added to Plan Sheet # 3. 5. Preliminary trench locations have been added to Plan Sheet # 3. 6. The built -upon area per lot limit has been added to page 4 of 4 of the application. 7. Three copies of the soils report by Land Management Group were hand -delivered to the regional office on September 28. Unfortunately, you indicated during your October 28 telephone conversation with Mr. Covil that you have not seen the report, and you requested that he send you more copies. In that regard we have enclosed three more copies of the report. 8. Anticipated drawdown time has been calculated based on information presented in Land Management's report. 3. Specify the type of project (chc one): Low Density High Density Redevelop -Xi-General Permit Other 4.
