Box 2418 Morehead City, NC 28557 Subject: REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Stormwater Project No. SW8 030413 VA Clinic Carteret County Dear Mr. Brown: The Wilmin;Kon Regional Office received a Stormwater Management Permit Application for VA Clinic on April 8, 2003. A preliminary review of that information has determined that the application is not complete. The following information is needed to continue the stormwater review: Please provide a legend on the plans. Please provide a note on the plans that all roof drains must be directed to the pond area. Please show the drainage delineation of the eastern side of the property, If the roof drains to the rear or east of the building., the runoff will not make it to the pond. Show some additional spot elevations that show that the built -upon area on the eastern portion of the property drains to the pond. All built -upon area -must drain to the pond, but grassed areas are allowed to sheet flow off the property. 4. The elevations of the wet detention pond cross-section do not match the supplement. Please revise the detail to reflect the design. The temporary pool volume provided on the plans is different than the pool volume on the supplement. Please revise. The permanent pool volume is the combined volume of the main basin and the forebay. Your permanent pool volume calculations do not take into account the loss of volume due to the shelf between the forebav and the main pool. According to your attached calculations, the permanent pool volume should be 5,396 cubic feet, not 6,126 cubic feet. Please note that this request for additional information is in response to a preliminary review. The requested information should be received by this Office prior to July 6, 2003, or the application will be returned as incomplete. The return of a project will necessitate resubmittal of all required items, including the application fee. s N. C.
