The James 44kV Line Re -build Project (Project) consists of rebuilding
approximately 5 miles of Duke Energy Carolinas, LLC 44kV electric
transmission line in Burke County, NC. All wetlands impacts are
temporary in nature due to matting, and will be returned to pre -
construction conditions. A culvert installation will take place on
Stream 8 (Sheet P5b) and will be permanent in nature. The culvert
installation is the only permanent impacts proposed for the Project.
The Project is seeking a 401 Water Quality Certification (No. 4133)
for the culvert installation.
Please give a couple of dates you are available for a meeting.
