REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
Dear Mr Helms
On November 17 2010 the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) issued an approval of 401 Water Quality
Certification to impact 0 01 acre of wetland and 64 linear feet of stream in order to install a relocated
dumpster pad to serve an apartment complex located on Highway 421 in Boone NC Condition number
2 of that approval states that you have indicated an impervious surface area of 22% in the PCN
Application dated October 1 2010 and approved by this written 401 Water Quality Certification You are
reminded that if at any time in the future you further develop the parcel as shown in the PCN
Application you will be required to comply with Condition No 12 [Stormwater Management] in GC No
3820
In order to address Condition 2 of the Water Quality Certification you submitted an analysis of the
impervious surfaces on the site (dated January 27 2012 and received February 2 2012) This
analysis pertains to parcels 17 18 20 21 and 22 Please provide the following additional
information so that the DWQ may complete its review

I Please provide a site plan showing all five parcels as they are currently developed In addition
please provide a separate site plan showing the proposed site plan for developing/redeveloping
these lots
2 In your numerical analysis please also include the total area of the development and a calculation
of the percent imperviousness (1n the current and proposed state)
The DWQ will require the above additional information to finalize review of the stormwater
management plan for the subject property Please provide this information within 30 calendar days
