Johnston County requires some sort of concurrence email from the COE, could your says something like
we approve with the submitted package and map this email is suitable for permitting until the official
paperwork is issued). I hate to bother you, would it be possible for something like that?

In August 2019, we received your request for a Preliminary Jurisdictional Determination (PJD) on an
approximately 29 acre review area identified as the Firetower E and W project, located in Johnston
County, North Carolina.
On September 25, 2019, a US Army Corps of Engineers representative conducted a site visit with you
and confirmed the location and extent of aquatic resources within your identified review area.
On December 20, 2019, we received the attached updated map. This map, and the previously submitted
wetland determination data forms, and delineation report, will be used to finalize this jurisdictional

The email I sent should be sufficient. It says the map was updated and we will use it to finalize the JD. If
a permit application was submitted using the same map, we would use it for permitting purposes.

All waters and non -wetland waters are jurisdictional to 401, 404
