Please reference the September 4, 2009 execution of the North Carolina Department of
Transportation Umbrella Mitigation Banking Instrument (NC DOT UMBI), as it relates to
Privateer Farm Addendum and our June 29, 2009 letter concerning the release of credits for the
mitigation site that is located west of NC Hwy 53, north of Elizabethtown, at the
Bladen/Cumberland County line, North Carolina.
With the execution of the NC DOT UMBI, this letter serves to release the initial 65%, or 173
credits, of riverine wetlands and 70%, or 5,646 linear feet, of stream. The release of the
remaining credits will be contingent on the review of the subsequent monitoring reports by the
Interagency Review Team.
