STATE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PERMIT
In compliance with the provisions of Article 21 of Chapter 143, General Statutes of North
Carolina as amended, and other applicable Laws, Rules and Regulations promulgated and
adopted by the North Carolina Environmental Management Commission,
Union County
is hereby authorized to construct, operate, and maintain linear utility lines and incidental built -
upon area associated with the Yadkin Regional Water Supply Project — Finished Water
Infrastructure project located
From 3522 New Salem Rd to the intersection of Secrest Shortcut Rd & N. Rocky River Rd
Multiple Townships
Union County
to receiving waters designated as East Fork Stewarts Creek, Stumplick Branch, & Lake Twitty,
class WS-III waters, and Mill Creek, a class C water, in the Yadkin- Pee Dee River Basin, in
accordance with the stormwater controls, compliance requirements, and other conditions and
requirements set forth in State Stormwater General Permit No. SWG040000 as attached.
This certificate of coverage shall become effective December 8, 2020.
This Certificate of Coverage shall remain in effect for the duration of the General Permit.
