The Division of Coastal Management (DCM) received a copy of a US Army Corps of Engineers Public
Notice (Corps Action ID# 200600208). Based on the description of the proposed project contained in the
Corps' Public Notice, the project may require consistency review from the Division of Coastal
Management before the project may be implemented. Please be aware that if any portion of your
proposed project occurs within an Area of Environmental Concern (AEC) and qualities as development
(pursuant to Section 51 13A-I 18 of the Coastal Area Management Act) then you will need to apply for a
LAMA permit instead oFinaking a consistency submission.
Attached to this letter is a brochure that provides guidance on complying with the consistency
