The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received the project material on January 3 2012 for the above
referenced project A Public Notice issued by the US Army Corps of Engineers will be necessary to
begin the review and approval process Please note that the following must be received prior to issuance
of a 401 Water Quality Certification
Additional Information Requested
1 Application Fee The fee for applications is now $240 for projects impacting less than an acre of
wetland and less than 150 linear feet of streams (whether intermittent or perennial) For protects
impacting one or more acres of wetland or 150 linear feet of streams (whether intermittent or
perennial) the fee is $570
2 Until the Public Notice is provided I will request (by copy of this letter) that the Corps of
Engineers place this project on hold Also this protect will be placed on hold for our processing
due to incomplete information (15A NCAC 2H 0507(a))
