Grays Creek Infiltration Basin Storm Water Narrative
The site is currently undeveloped. The site will be developed as self-storage
development. The site drains to stream to the north of the site.
There is currently very little impervious area within the drainage area. The infiltration
basin issized to accommodate the proposed impervious within the drainage area. The
storm water will be collected throughout the site and piped into the infiltration basin.
The basin will hold the 1-year storm. If the basin is overrun, it will outflow to the stream
that is north of this site. The infiltration basin has been designed in accordance with the
latest NCDEQ Stormwater Design Manual.
