Spindale, NC 28160 Dear Madam/Sir, Watts Water Technologies (WWT) is submitting the enclosed semi-annual stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) for the industrial stormwater permit issued to Watts Regulator (NCG030251). This is a no flow DMR for Period 2 of 2020. WWT did not sample in Period 2 of 2020 as we sought clarification of a NC DEQ Land Quality Section Stormwater Compliance Evaluation Inspection letter dated September 1, 2020. In that letter, DEQ indicated that the Representative Outfall Status and Tier II relief letter of December 30, 2016 shall be considered rescinded. Because no reason was stated for the rescission, WWT has sought and continues to seek clarification. If held up, the rescission would result in a requirement to sample multiple outfalls on a monthly basis. Therefore, WWT seeks to find a resolution with DEQ and will begin the Period 1 of 2021 monitoring as soon as this is resolved. Please contact Tiffany Crosby, Sr. EHS Engineer via phone (910) 865-6235 or email tiffany.crosbyCa)wattswater.com with any questions.
