The Winston Salem Regional Office of the Division of Water Quality received your letter and
application for the Bridge No 32 replacement project in Alamance County Based on our review of the
submitted project details dated received in our Central Office on February 14 2012 and additional
information date received February 15 2012 you do not appear to be proposing a development activity
at this site that would be subject to the stormwater requirements as provided for in Title 15A NCAC 02H
1000 Because the classification of the Buttermilk Creek is WSII HQW these activities are subject to
1 itle 15A NCAC 02B 0104 Based on the application review the proposed activities nzect the
requirements of the Title 15A NCAC 02B 0104
This exemption applies only to the State Stormwater Management Permit for the currently
proposed activity If at any time in the future development of any part of this site is planned as defined
in 15A NCAC 02H 1000 or if the proposed activities differ in any manner from what is shown on the
plans on file with the Division you must submit the project for review of the applicability of the
