1. The enclosed application to discharge fill into Section 404
wetlands to construct the Camp Geiger Access Upgrades, a road
widening project, on Marine Corps Base (MCB), Camp Lejeune
(CamLej) is submitted for your review and approval.
2. MCB CamLej proposes to permanently impact 0.16 acres of
Section 404 wetlands, to complete the project described in the
application. This project does not require compensatory
mitigation for impacts to Waters of the U.S. or Waters of the
State.
