The annual permit fee of $100.00 for coverage under NPDES General Stormwater Permit NCGO10000
for Construction Activities has not been paid. The permit fee was billed on 11/3/2020 and due on
12/3/2020. DEQ issued a Notice of Deficiency on 12/18/2020 and our records indicate no response has
been received.
This project is currently in violation of Part IV, Section B, Item 9 of the NCGO10000 permit. Enclosed is
a copy of the invoice for the annual permit fee. Payment must be submitted to DEQ within 15 calendar
days of receipt of this notice. If the project was closed out prior to the invoice date, you must submit a
Notice of Termination on-line, and DEQ will determine if waiving the fee is appropriate.
Failure to pay the permit fee will result in a lapse of your permit coverage and a potential civil penalty
assessment of up to $25,000 per day for failing to maintain permit coverage. Should you have any
