Good Afternoon,
The Division of Energy, Mineral, and Land Resources (DEMLR), received a complete Stormwater Management Permit
Modification Application for the subject project on November 17, 2020. Staff review of the plans and specifications has
determined that the project, as proposed, will comply with the Stormwater Regulations set forth in Title 15A NCAC
2H.1000 - 1062 rules. We are forwarding modified Permit No. SW3191101, dated December 1, 2020, for the
construction, operation and maintenance of the subject project and the stormwater system. This permit shall be
effective from the date of issuance and shall be subject to the conditions and limitations as specified therein, and does
not supersede any other agency permit that may be required.
The original signed permit modification package and modified approved plans are being mailed to Tadd Miller at the
following address (NOTE: Due to unforeseen circumstances, the mailing of the hard copy of the permit will be delayed
slightly. It should be mailed out in a week or so):
North Pilot Knob Road, LLC, Developer
176 Mine Lake Court, Suite 100
Raleigh, NC, 27615
This project will be kept on file after 30 days at the Mooresville Regional Office. If you have any questions, or need
additional information concerning this matter, please contact me at jim.farkas@ncdenr.gov.
NOTE: Since having issued the original permit, we have updated our permitting language so, as part of this Minor
Modification, we are also providing the permittee with an updated permit (The updated permit does not change any of
the terms or conditions of the original permit, it just clarifies some things and is now consistent with our Regional Office
permits).
Thank you,
Jim Farkas
