All permittees will be required to self -audit any program areas that were not audited by DEQ and to
develop and submit a new SWMP for review and approval.

If you have not already done the self -audit, you can use the audit report template (attached). This is

As stated in the letter, Benson only self -audits those minimum measures NOT audited during the NCDEQ
audit.

Hi. Benson acknowledged the March 18, 2020 NOV-2020-PC-0082 with the August 4, 2020
response. Both of these letters are attached for your reference. As the March 18th letter specifies,
there were two items under the submit documentation section of the letter
* Conduct a self -audit
* Develop a draft Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP)
We received the draft SWMP on November 10, 2020. This draft SWMP appears to have been sent from
Benson on October 30, 2020. We have NOT received the self -audit. Has the self -audit been
sent? Please confirm that the self -audit has been sent and/or provide an explanation as to why it has
not been sent. If Benson fails to meet the requirements, DEQ may proceed with enforcement.
