Subject: Shoreline Stabilization, Lot 118, Lake Norman
Dear Mr. Spevak:
The Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your 401 Water Quality Certification application for the subject
project on Apri127, 2007. Mr. Alan Johnson of this Office has and reviewed your application and based on his review of
the following information is needed by this office in order to issue the 401 Certification:
a) Vicinity map (street map can be found at Mapquest.com).
b) Topographic Map (can be found at Topozone.com).
c) A couple of photos of the shoreline.
d) Amount of impact above and below full pond. If the top of bank is greater than five feet above the lake bed a
more detail diagram of the impact may be required.
Pursuant to 15A NCAC 2H .0507(h), please be advised that this project will be placed on hold until such time as the
requested information has been received. In addition, this office is requesting that the Army Corps of Engineers withhold
processing the 404 permit until the requested information is provided.
