SUBJECT: NOTICE OF VIOLATION
Tracking Number: NOV-2020-DV-0558
Sanitary Sewer Overflows — November 2020
Collection System Permit NO. WQCS00270
Smithfield Collection System
Johnston County
Dear Mr. Vinson:
After discovering these SSO's we began immediate monitoring procedures and cleanup
preparation. Since the downstream, receiving lines were full, which was the cause of the
SSO's; our only course of action was to monitor & clean. Once the rain stopped and the
water receded, we began the clean up process. At each of these sites we cleaned up
any debris and treated each area with pelletized lime and straw.
