Annual Avg Daily Traffic(veh/hr/day): Design/Future: 90 Year: 2016 Existing: 90 Year: 2016 General Project Narrative: Project involves the replacement of Bridge#550181 over Tellico Creek on SR 1369(Tellico Rd)in Macon County,NC northwest of Franklin. Proposed 55'long by 27'wide(21" (Description of Minimization of Water Cored Slab Unit)single-span bridge with sheet piling to replace existing 25'long by 21'wide(Timber deck on I-beams)single-span bridge.Runoff from the existing bridge Quality Impacts) discharges directly into the creek;however,the proposed bridge will have no direct discharge into the creek.No deck drains will be required.Stormwater runoff from the proposed bridge is to flow to traffic bearing grated inlet on the north side of the roadway at the east approach of the bridge where it will be diffused with a riprap pad at the proposed pipe outlets.All proposed stormwater runoff is discharged as far away from the stream and at the lowest velocities as practicable.
