Per 15A NCAC 02T .0203(A)(21. Industrial pump and haul activities are deemed permitted provided the following criteria is met:
➢ The facility notifies the appropriate Division regional office in writing advising of the type of operation; type and quantity of
wastewater generated, location, and the receiving wastewater treatment facility. A letter from the facility accepting the
wastewater (type and,quantity) specifically agreeing to accept wastewater from the applicant shall be Included.
➢ The wastewater does not contain any human waste.
The,waste is collected and discharged into a sewer or treatment system designed and permitted to accept the type of
wastewater being pumped and hauled.
The pump and haul activity is not to alleviate a"fafling wastewater system..
The Division regional office concurs in writing that the activity meets the criteria in this Rule.

Industrial Pump and Haul Activities
Per 1 NCAC 02T .0203(A)f2). Industrial pump and haul activities are deemed permitted provided the following criteria is met:
➢ The facility notifies the appropriate Division regional office in writing advising of the type of operation, type and quantity of
wastewater generated, location, and the receiving wastewater treatment facility. A letter from the facility accepting the
wastewater (type and quantity) specifically agreeing to accept wastewater from the applicant shall be included.
➢ The wastewater does not contain.any human waste.
➢ The waste is collected and discharged into a sewer or treatment system designed and permitted to accept the type of
wastewater being pumped and hauled,
➢ The pump and haul activity is not to alleviate a failing wastewater system.
➢ The Division regional office concurs in waiting that the activity meets the criteria in this Rule.

Per 15A NCAC 02T .0203(A)(21 Industrial pump and haul activities are deemed permitted provided the following criteria is met:
A The facility notifies the appropriate Division regional office in writing advising of the type of operation, type and quantity of

Modification. application to NC DWR for the.Meadows Partnership WWTP (WQ0036327.) in
Nantahala.
During the application period and construction modification Reuse is requesting a Pump and
Haul permit be issued to Meadows Partnership WWTP for 6 months.
Reuse has contracted with Mountain Septic service to pump and haul the 100% domestic
wastewater.
We would Iike.to request that the Town of. Franklin WWTP accept the 6 months of wastewater
generated by the Meadows Partnership. We anticipate a monthly production of 3000 gallons.
Reuse would like to ask if you would provide a letter stating that the Town of Franklin WWTP
Would be willing to accept the wastewater generated by the Meadows Partnership WWTP for
the period of 6 months.
