Please give a brief project description below.

NCDOT Division 7 proposes to make improvements to SR 2147 (W
Friendly Avenue) between Green Valley Road and just east of N
Lindell Road. NDOT anticipates widening the roadway for improving
pedestrian safety and relieving congestion. STV Engineers is
providing planning, design, and Section 404/401 services on behalf
of Division 7. An MCDC has been prepared, a delineation of waters of
the U.S. has been completed, and a PJD package and NRTR have
been prepared. The proposed widening will result in a culvert
extension and a Nationwide Permit No. 14 is anticipated. The project
has a Let date of June 24, 2021.
