I second Maria's comments. We need to make sure that this isn't going to open up the flood gates to
development in that area. And absolutely agree that things would be much, much easier if permitting was about
what we like.

It's odd there isn't anything in the bay yet. Perhaps it was just due to lack of opportunity. I didn't know if there were
historical reasons, so that's why I copied Anne earlier. I would say if it is permitted, language to stress how important the
habitat is (PNA, shellfish, coastal marsh) should be emphasized so there isn't a boom of development, a secondary and
cumulative impact statement in addition to direct impacts. A moratorium for all the construction should definitely be
implemented.
All this being said, I still don't like the project, but it isn't always about what I like (wouldn't life be easier that way, well
at least for me?).
Thank you so much for the site visit. You provided valuable information that allowed a through review.

Hi. Do you guys have any thoughts about this one? I need to write up my comments today and I still am not clear on my
decision, so I appreciate any feedback to help me out.
I don't like the idea of this long of pier, but the water depths are adequate.

Hi. I went out with a fisheries tech that has sampled this area over the last couple of years. The tech said the conditions
we saw were about normal. The low tide was -0.34 MLLW. The tech said that this area is very affected by wind and he
has seen the water get blown out of most of the bay. So on normal conditions I believe that Debbie's water depths are
accurate. the proposed boat lift is in over 2' NLW. The water depth goes down to 3.0' NLW about 10 ft beyond that. The
substrate is sandy and there is an oyster lease next to this property. I do not see any problems with the pier's location. I
do find the proposal for a 613 ft pier to be too much encroachment of PTW.

Good morning Maria,
This one is actually within Kim's area, so I believe she's handling it. I'm not sure if she's commented on it yet or
not, though.

Good morning Jimmy.
Have you commented on the Eric Pollard project? It is a two slip proposal within PNA, water depths -1.2' to -2.1' NLW.
There are no slips within Alligator Bay now, and I'm not too sure of the water depths in the area to get to a channel. It
looks like there is a shoal near the shore as well. Do you know anyone who is more familiar with the site? Perhaps some
DMF staff? I copied Anne in case she is familiar or knows any history.
Thanks
Maria
