This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in NPDES WW Permit No. NC0043796. The DWR would like to thank Phillip Creech (ORC) and Steven Ward (Back-up ORC) for their time, assistance, and expertise provided during the inspection. From the sand filter, the flow goes to a series of underground holding tanks and is recycled back onto the sand filter before being treated via the UV disinfection system. The plant discharges to a man-made ditch that goes into a wooded area that eventually leads to a roadside ditch.
