NPDES Stormwater Discharge Monitoring Report for:
Dan River Combined Cycle Station — NC000572 — Rockingham County
In accordance with Part III, E(2) of the above referenced NPDES Stormwater permit, the original
and one copy of the Year 5-Period 2 semiannual monitoring report for Outfall SW001,SW002,
SWO09 and SWO10 are enclosed. The period for sampling ends on December 31, 2020. No
discharge is documented for all four outfalls. No measurable storm event that produced an
actual discharge occurred during normal business and within a 72-hour period between storm
events.
Outfalls SW003, SW003A, SW003B, SW004, SW005, SW006, and SW011 were physically
removed during the Fall 2017. NCDEQ WSRO sent a letter dated January 29, 2018 stating
these outfalls now sheet flow and therefore are no longer in the permit. Outfalls SW007,
SWO07A and SWO08 were removed from the permit in a letter from NCDEQ WSRO dated July
14, 2017 due to the lack of industrial activity in the drainage area.
