Box 614 ��tcksott,liTcg 27845 (252) 534-3811 Date: December 21.2020 Re: Permit 0 WQCS00301 - Inflow exceeding permitted limits fo: Vanessa Manuel or Scott Vinson NC Dept of Environmental Quality DEC 2 9 2020 Raleigh Regional Office 1 am sending this correspondence in reference to the Town of Jackson experiencing inflow exceeding it's permitted limits on the following dates (with amounts). December 15th (568,200 gals), 16th (71 1,700 gals), 17(714,500 gals). and the 181h( 699,300 gals). Freeboard on the 1e' was 3'3" at the Town's WWTP Facility Lagoon. This event was in response to 3.2 " of rainfall total on the 14t and 16th . The month of November, rainfall total that month was 10.0 " of rain , this in effect has given our area a saturated situation and high water table. Also on the 19', 20111, and 21'1 the Town had inflow readings exceeding permitted limits of averaged over three days, (691,000 gals) for each day. Freeboard as of the 21 ' at our WWTP Facility Lagoon stands at 2' 10 ". Rainfall this past weekend was 4110 the of an inch.
