The purpose of the project is to replace a functionally obsolete bridge with a new bridge in the same alignment.An offsite detour will be utilized during construction.
4i.Describe the overall project in detail,including indirect impacts and the type of equipment to be used:*
The proposed project will replace the existing two lane bridge with a new two lane bridge in the same alignment.The roadway grade of the new structure will be approximately the same
as the existing structure.Six foot shoulders with two-foot paved will be provided on each side.The replacement structure will be approximately 70 feet long,replacing the old structure of
approximately 52 feet.Traffic will be detoured offsite during construction.Standard road building equipment such as,trucks,cranes and dozers will be utilized.

The project was designed to replace a bridge with a bridge.It was also designed to span the width of the stream with no bents proposed to be in the
stream.
