This SSO occurred at 1232 Summer street lift station on 11-12-2020. The cause of the spill was inflow from heavy rain. This caused approximately 18,000 gallons to reach the ground and was contained into the containment burm. No wastewater was noted entering surface water. Spill remediation was completed by removal of any floatable debris and the area was limed to prevent odor. The Town is currently in design with LKC engineering for replacement of this facility. Attached is the approval by the Town Board to replace this station. Current estimation for start of construction will be early April 2021, current dry pit will be replaced with large capacity wet well and pumps. T.
