Please note that the Clarios entity that is a party to a contract, agreement or purchase order remains the
same; the only change is the name of the entity. Accordingly, such documents are not being transferred
to a new entity and the legal effect of the contracts, agreements and purchase orders signed with your
company will not be impacted due to the name change.
All U.S. entities within the Clarios structure are disregarded entities for U.S. tax purposes. Accordingly,
Clarios will no longer provide Form W-9. Attached to this communication you will find our Form W-8.
As of December 30, 2019, we will only accept Bill of Lading, Packing List, Invoices and other documents
under the new registered company name.
Any of the above documents issued after December 30, 2019 that are not addressed to the new
company name will be rejected and we will ask you to revise to our new company name.
