NPDES General Stormwater Permit NCG190000
Narrative Description of Industrial Activities Performed at Tideline Marine
Transient & Permanent Slips — We rent out covered and uncovered wet slips to our patrons on
a monthly basis.
Retail Store —The retail store sells (boats, pontoon boats, boat trailers, motors, parts,
accessories, nautical gift shop items, prepackaged drink and snack items, as well as frozen bait,
tackle, and other fishing and boating items.
Boat Sales — The retail store is responsible for all boat sales. We sell new boats and used boats
when they are available and consignment boats after consignment patrons have signed an
Exclusive Brokerage Agreement.
Trash Collection/Recycling — Trash collection is through the City of Jacksonville for both trash
and recycling.
Dry Boat Storage —Dry boat storage is on one level in our boat yard for a monthly fee. We are
currently not accepting any new dry storage boats at this time in hopes of eventually no longer
offering this service. We do offer a launch/recover/rinse service for those patrons in dry
storage.
Engine Repair — We repair boats and motors in our shop.
Pump Out — A sanitary pump is located on the premises but is not currently used.
Fueling — We have a fuel pump located on the dock.
Boat Ramp — We have a small boat ramp located on the premises for use by the service
department to test drive boats and to launch/recover boats located in dry storage. The boat
ramp is located at the back of the property on the New River in a small harbor.
Boat Hand Washing — We handwash boats after servicing them to remove any leftover debris,
handprints, or marks left behind from the service department. We also wash boats by hand for
sale purposes and after being used when necessary.

Boat Pressure Washing - Boat pressure washing is used to clean boats when regular hand
washing will not suffice.
Sanding — Minimal sanding is done on the property to prepare boat surfaces for bottom paint.
Painting — We apply paint to boats. We also have a boat travel lift that has the capability to
move, however it is never used to haul out or drop in boats
"Notes — I would like to make note that we have two storm drain grates located in the front
parking lot of the retail store location. These grates are connected and have one single outfall
point located on the side of the Shop building, not directly emptying to the creek. The boat
ramp is small, and made of concrete.
