A review of the permit and Groundwater Monitoring Reports showed that total nitrate in
Monitoring Well MW-2 were above the groundwater standard for the months of December 2018
and November 2019. We have received your response to NORR-2020-LV-0150 and it was
deemed insufficient to explain the source of the nitrate in MW-2. It is the responsibility of the
Permittee to conduct a groundwater investigation to delineate the source of the nitrate. A copy of
NORR-2020-LV-0150 has been included for your convenience.
