Pursuant to your letter dated October 28 2011 requestmg additional mformation relating to our
applicat�on please find the followmg responses below as well as on the additional page provided
(drawmg outlirnng our modified plan for the shoreline stabdizat�on pro�ect)
1 Please refer to the drawing provided on the additional page enclosed As your letter mdicates
the sod erosion on our waterfront�s sigrnficantly more severe on the left s�de of our dock(facing
the waterfront)than it is on the right side As such our modif'ied plan is to use np rap and dry
stack on the left side of the dock at a height necessary to address the erosion issue(�3-4 feet of
dry stack) On the right side of the dock however the erosion is most severe�ust to the right
side of the dock but tapers off to a less severe level at about 25 feet to the right of the dock
Our modified plan is to use np rap and dry stack on the right s�de of the dock but taper it off
followmg the shorelme as the erosion becomes less severe moving from left to nght of the dock
Therefore we wdl not mamtam the same height of the watl across the entire waterftont
Natural vegetation currently exists for the balance of the shorelme that extends from to the
right side of our property line We wdl allow the natural shoreline vegetation to remain in place
for the finai�30 feet at our property line
2 In terms of how the work wdl be perFormed we wdl be conductmg the entire construct�on
process from the waterfront using a barge There are several barge owners on Lake Glenvdle
and we wdl be using one of them for the transponation of the materials as well as the
eqwpment necessary to perform the wo�k

begin our pro�ect shortly Our goal�s to complete the pro�ect this winter while the lake pond level
